A picture of the book's cover accompanied by a short, informative, interesting paragraph that includes: the book's title, number of pages, and author. Also include something that would tantalize, tempt, or otherwise make someone want to read the book.
Here's an example of a quickie blog: 
Noshy Boy, a 15 page "literary classic," written by Anne-Marie Asner tells the delightful tale of a boy who snacks a LOT. The book has whimsical illustrations and a good moral. It is a cheerful and giggly good read!
